There are also a few attacks that can't be blocked, like the explosives thrown by the bomber enemy in Tunic's Quarry. The fox's shield can block nearly any incoming attack, but doing so will chip away at their stamina. Obtaining the shield in Tunic will change how battles are approached. The stairs south of the fountain lead to a big knight with a green cape, and defeating this enemy will award players with a key to the Old House. Otherwise, players can search the rest of the world in Tunic to find one of the additional swords, like the one in the West Garden beneath the boss arena.įrom the Windmill Shop in the Overworld, past where the gold warp point in Tunic is, players can climb down the ladder, then go west and down the grassy ramps. The sword can be missed, so if players reach the boss in the East Forest without finding the sword, then they will need to backtrack through this area to obtain it. Players will also face their first boss almost immediately after finding this weapon. After obtaining this weapon, the game seems to shift, throwing much harder enemies at the fox. Immediately past the open gate, there's a staircase leading to the Hero's Grave and a sword at the statue's base.įinding the sword marks a change in Tunic's adventure. ![]() Players will then need to take the stairs next to the gate and follow the path around to raise the gate. There's a ramp that reaches the platform that the inaccessible stairs led to. From the inital southeast path, players can head south of the staircase, then continue east. Wooden signs throughout the East Forest will point the way toward the Hero's Grave which is where the sword can be found. To obtain the sword, players can enter the East Forest, the same area where the East Belltower is located in Tunic. There's a path past the doorway southeast of the fox statue save point. ![]()
